Payroll Specialist Dayforce

Process Canadian and US payroll with Ceridian Dayforce at Eclipse Automation’s on-site Cambridge, Ontario location. Apply payroll expertise and Excel accuracy.

This full-time Payroll Specialist administers biweekly payroll for approximately 600 employees. The position maintains legislative compliance and generally accepted accounting principles while reviewing timesheets, earnings, deductions, and payroll outputs. It also supports reconciliations, year-end forms, and payroll accounting through Sage 50.

• Administer Canadian and US biweekly payroll in Dayforce
• Review timesheets, discrepancies, earnings, deductions, and payroll inputs
• Process garnishments, taxable benefits, Records of Employment, and WSIB premiums
• Create payroll journal entries and enter them in Sage 50
• Administer year-end forms, reconciliations, and Dayforce configuration reviews

• Diploma in business administration, accounting, or bookkeeping
• Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification
• Five years of payroll experience
• Ceridian Dayforce experience
• Excel formulas including VLOOKUPs and SUMIFS
