Christmas Kettle Campaign Assistant

Support Christmas Kettle operations with scheduling, volunteer coordination, and local travel for The Salvation Army. This temporary position serves communities across Canada.

As a Christmas Kettle Assistant, you will help coordinate staff, volunteers, and kettle sites. Responsibilities include orientation, scheduling, donation security, and campaign logistics. Office administration, Word, Excel, and communication skills support the work.

• Coordinate kettle staff and volunteer schedules
• Orient Christmas Kettle campaign workers and volunteers
• Deliver and collect kettles from campaign sites
• Secure donations and transfer contents into deposit bags
• Host kettle locations and maintain necessary supplies

• Completed high school or equivalent
• One year of community-based program experience is an asset
• Office administration experience
• Strong Word and Excel experience
• Valid Ontario Class G driver's license and acceptable abstract
