This full-time position requires diagnosing, testing, and repairing vehicle systems while ensuring safety and functionality. You will also conduct preventative maintenance, mentor apprentices, and document all repairs to uphold dealership standards. Ideal candidates will thrive in a busy shop focusing on operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems using specialized tools
• Conduct multi-point inspections and make repair recommendations
• Communicate with Parts and Service Advisors regularly
• Document work performed consistently with OEM standards
• Maintain an inventory of common technician tools
Requirements:
• Provincially recognized Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate
• Strong knowledge of various vehicle makes and models
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving history
