What is the Opportunity?
This role offers the opportunity to support major utility construction projects by leading the development and execution of site‑based quality programs. As a Quality Advisor, you will participate in the creation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), inspect and validate installation work in the field, and ensure compliance with civil, structural, and electrical standards.
Working closely with construction managers, project managers, and contractor teams, you’ll apply your hands‑on trade or construction experience to strengthen installation quality across utility substations.
Ideal for a seasoned tradesperson or quality professional seeking a stable, career path, this position blends clerical quality oversight with meaningful on‑site field engagement across Ontario.
What You’ll Do Here
Develop, implement, and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) from project initiation through field verification, documentation, and closeout.
Produce accurate documentation, interpret codes, read construction drawings, and manage quality records using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams).
Coordinate, schedule, and complete inspections within the defined scope of work.
Support and contribute to an inclusive workplace culture that values equity, diverse perspectives, and professional growth.
Perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment; tasks may involve repetitive data entry and periods of prolonged sitting.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
