Rate of PayThe salary grid rate for this position is based on QECO rating ('A' rating) and experience. Salary is prorated based on FTE and length of assignment. Long-Term Occasional (LTO) assignments are paid according to the Salary Grids found within the applicable under Appendix A (pages 78-79). The current grid rate is effective September 1, 2025.

The Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board (KPR) offers a world-class education for approximately 35,000 students in 87 schools. Spanning over 7,000 square kilometers, across diverse rural and urban communities in southeastern Ontario. Qualifications Required- In Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers or;
Good Standing with Terms, Conditions or Limitations (Transitional Certificate). - A police record check, with a Vulnerable Sector Search and Pardoned Sexual Offenders Database Search dated within 6 months prior to the date of hire, is a requirement for employment.
This long term occasional position is posted and filled in accordance with the Elementary Occasional Teachers' Collective Agreement.
Eligibility for Internal Applicants- An occasional teacher currently in a long-term position that will not conclude by the start date of this position is not eligible to apply to this posting, unless the occasional teacher can accommodate the position with their existing position.
