Support the mission of Chalmers Street Public School as a Library Clerk, engaging students and staff with library resources effectively. This educational support role focuses on collection oversight and enhancing reading engagement within the community.
This Level C role entails 21 hours of work each week over ten months. You'll perform key library tasks such as charging, shelving, and repairing materials. Additionally, you will aid in the effective use of resources, promoting professional and student learning through accessible library services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Charge, shelve, and repair library items
• Assist in resource searches for library users
• Oversee overdue materials and maintain records
• Process and file new library inventory
• Monitor technology and equipment in the library
Requirements:
• Secondary School diploma essential
• At least one year of relevant clerical experience
• Preferred training in Insignia Library Fundamentals
• Solid keyboarding and software learning abilities
• Capability to perform physical library tasks
