This full-time temporary role seeks a dedicated individual who excels in behavioural support and child development. You will collaborate with educators to create an inclusive environment for children needing extra assistance. The position requires hands-on experience in educational support and behavioural management to ensure children's emotional and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist during program routines and daily transitions
• Facilitate strategies for emotional and behavioural regulation
• Provide behavioural support using a child-centered approach
• Promote participation in recreational and play activities
• Maintain communication with families and educational staff
Requirements:
• Must hold RECE registration in good standing
• Background in child and youth work or related disciplines
• Strong communicator with children and families
• Proven organizational skills for task management
• Experience working with children needing behavioural support
