Oxford Learning seeks enthusiastic individuals to provide after-school tutoring sessions using pre-prepared lessons. As a Teacher-Tutor, you will not only teach but also help students improve their confidence and academic abilities. Candidates should be committed for the school year and beyond, fostering relationships for continued student success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach customized lessons to up to three students
• Conduct in-person classes from 4 PM to 8 PM
• Utilize Oxford Learning's instructional methods
• Take detailed notes to track students' progress
• Maintain a positive and professional teaching attitude
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant subject
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience is an asset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of managing several students at one time
• Availability to commute to the Cambridge Hespeler location
