Teach high school mathematics and science in person at Oxford Learning Waterloo Eastbridge, using strong subject knowledge and communication skills. Support students during part-time afternoon and evening hours.
Oxford Learning Waterloo Eastbridge seeks teacher-tutors who enjoy Calculus, Data Management, Physics, or Chemistry. You will help students build skills while teaching Grades 9 to 12 content. The work includes up to three students at different levels and follows Oxford Learning methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach mathematics and science to up to three students
- Teach in person during scheduled centre hours
- Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
- Complete post-lesson notes and student communication updates
- Maintain a friendly, professional manner consistently
- Bachelor’s degree or similar relevant certification
- Third-year university students with tutoring experience considered
- Knowledge of Grades 11-12 math and science curriculum
- Teaching or tutoring experience at Grades 9 to 12
- Vulnerable sector screening and strong English communication skills
