Take your engineering career to the next level as an Applications Engineer with Cambridge, focusing on nuclear reactor instrumentation. This role is central to driving safety and efficiency in reactor operations.
You will bridge the gap between the technical and commercial aspects of projects, supporting the development of proposals and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Engaging directly with customers, your insights will shape product design and improvements, while collaborating with engineers and quality teams on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with sales to formulate comprehensive quotes
• Serve as a technical resource during customer design discussions
• Prepare engineering documents to support bid packages
• Ensure designs comply with regulatory standards
• Utilize customer insights for continuous development
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering
• PE license preferred
• Minimum 5 years in the nuclear field, especially core instrumentation
• Experience with regulatory standards (ASME, IEEE)
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
Drive innovation and safety in nuclear applications by providing expert technical support and engaging with industry stakeholders.
