Environmental Health and Safety Advisor

You will report to the EHS Manager, ensuring adherence to safety regulations through inspections and audits. This one-year contract involves collaborating with teams to reinforce safety culture, manage hazardous materials, and maintain comprehensive records of safety initiatives. Your hands-on approach will contribute significantly to an accident-free workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support EHS strategies and compliance with regulations

• Conduct audits and safety performance assessments

• Inspect and verify functionality of safety equipment

• Develop and maintain safety documentation

• Train staff in safety procedures and standards

Requirements:

• 1-3 years in a Safety role, preferably in fabrication

• Relevant qualifications such as NSCO or CRSP advantageous

• Familiarity with VOC limits and safety standards

• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities

• Emergency planning experience is a plus
