The role of Technical Applications Engineer focuses on supporting the design and quoting process for instrumentation used in reactors. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least five years of hands-on experience in nuclear instrumentation. You will collaborate with commercial teams and influence design decisions, ensuring customer needs are met with regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support technical sales through proposals and quotations
• Act as the technical liaison in customer engagements
• Review reactor layouts and define sensor placements
• Work with engineering teams to ensure compliance
• Document technical details for bids and proposals
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering
• 5+ years related engineering experience in nuclear
• Familiarity with ASME, IEEE standards
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in engineering software tools
