Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer

This role places you at the forefront of design and construction administration, closely collaborating with the Senior Electrical Engineer. You will prepare specifications and drawings for various building types and oversee essential tasks such as liaising with contractors and conducting site inspections to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare engineering specifications and drawings for diverse buildings

• Design effective lighting and power distribution systems

• Draft engineering application documents for permits and upgrades

• Ensure compliance with project criteria, codes, and standards

• Conduct on-site inspections and review shop drawings

Requirements:

• P.Eng. designation is mandatory

• 5-7 years of experience in Canadian building retrofits

• Knowledge of Canadian Electrical and Ontario Electrical Safety Codes

• Familiarity with IEEE and CSA standards

• Strong communication skills in English
