Take the lead in environmental, health, and safety with Bimeda as an EHS Specialist in Cambridge, ON. This full-time opportunity focuses on regulatory compliance and safety program development.
As our EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for advancing our EHS programs through collaboration with leadership and implementing improved practices. Your expertise will inform policy development while ensuring employee safety and environmental compliance. You will also analyze data to mitigate risks and promote sustainable practices within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as an EHS advisor for multiple sites
• Lead the implementation of safety management systems
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments
• Develop training programs fostering a safety-first culture
• Report EHS metrics to enhance operational strategies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in an EHS field
• 6+ years of relevant experience in industrial EHS
• Strong grasp of OSHA, EPA, and EHS regulations
