Shape the future of infrastructure in Ontario as a Senior Environmental Permitting Specialist s leadership role focuses on advancing environmental permitting throughout complex project phases.
As a Senior Environmental Permitting Specialist, you will use your expertise to lead permitting strategies while ensuring all regulatory requirements are met. Working closely with project teams, you will advise on compliance risks and manage permitting processes effectively. Strong collaboration with Indigenous communities and stakeholders is critical to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead environmental permitting and approvals for multi-disciplinary projects
• Advise on regulatory pathways and approval sequencing
• Develop effective mitigation strategies for compliance risks
• Track and manage environmental permits and agreements
• Provide technical leadership during project delivery
Requirements:
• At least 10 years of experience in environmental permitting
• In-depth knowledge of environmental legislation
• Proven delivery of permitting strategies for infrastructure
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in relevant discipline
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
