Manufacturing Engineer

Position: Manufacturing Engineer ON
Drive excellence at a leading automotive supplier in Cambridge, ON as a Manufacturing Engineer. Optimize CNC machining processes and lead cost-saving initiatives to enhance production efficiency.

As a pivotal member of the team, you'll drive continuous improvement across CNC machining and assembly operations.

Your role focuses on managing CAPEX projects, implementing robust processes, and collaborating with quality to ensure compliance with automotive standards.

This role offers a chance to apply your expertise in process improvement and engineering project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cost reduction and throughput improvement initiatives

• Analyze data and develop corrective actions for process inefficiencies

• Manage CAPEX projects from scope development to performance validation

• Design and optimize manufacturing processes and tooling

• Implement standard work practices and 5S methodologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering

• 3–7 years of engineering experience in automotive environments

• Proven success in driving CAPEX projects and process improvements

• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma

• Excellent problem-solving skills and team leadership experience
