Electrical Design Lead at Eclipse Automation

Take the lead in electrical design with Eclipse Automation in Cambridge, ON. This full-time role focuses on hardware design and team coordination within an innovative automation environment.

As the Electrical Design Team Lead, you'll report to the Electrical Engineering Manager and oversee the design and quality assurance of electrical hardware. You will drive project completions and ensure designs meet Eclipse's high standards. Key responsibilities include leading the design team, problem-solving major hardware issues, and coaching staff on best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide the electrical design team to meet project deadlines

• Review and approve all project-related designs

• Coordinate designs to comply with safety and reliability standards

• Liaise across departments to meet project goals

• Promote environmentally safe design practices

Requirements:

• 7+ years in the custom automation industry

• University Degree or College Diploma in relevant fields

• Proficient in EPLAN, AutoCAD, and MS Office

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience with hydraulics and electrical integration
