Lead engineering excellence at BWXT Canada as the Engineering Analysis Manager. Oversee qualification activities for nuclear equipment, ensuring compliance and quality in a collaborative environment.
In this pivotal role based in Cambridge, Ontario, you will mentor a team of engineers conducting thermal-hydraulic and structural analyses for critical nuclear components. Your expertise will drive operational efficiency while ensuring all projects align with customer specifications, regulatory standards, and BWXT protocols. As a leader, you'll be integral in staffing, planning, and fostering continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor engineers in component design analysis and qualification
• Develop manpower plans and ensure analytical tool availability
• Monitor team efficiency and adherence to quality standards
• Prepare project schedules and deliverable lists
• Provide technical support for analysis and design objectives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and P.Eng. status
• 7-10 years in a supervisory engineering role
• Strong knowledge of ASME Code and engineering fundamentals
• Experience in heat exchanger and pressure vessel design
• Excellent communication and project planning skills
