Lead electrical design initiatives with Eclipse Automation in Cambridge, ON. This full-time role focuses on coordinating hardware designs, ensuring compliance, and driving project excellence.
As an Electrical Design Team Lead, you will report to the Electrical Engineering Manager while managing the Electrical Hardware Design functions. Your leadership will guide project designs, maintain high standards of quality and reliability, and mentor team members in practical design practices. Collaborating across departments, you will ensure project goals are met while upholding Eclipse’s values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead project designs and coordinate team efforts
• Review and approve all electrical hardware designs
• Initiate problem-solving for major design issues
• Mentor staff on standards and practices
• Liaise with other departments for project delivery
Requirements:
• 7+ years in custom automation industry
• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in EPLAN and AutoCAD
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
