Work closely with both panel shop and site teams to support wiring, startup, and troubleshooting while mentoring junior designers to elevate their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own electrical design for custom automation projects
• Produce schematics and control panel layouts in EPLAN
• Design power distribution and machine safety circuits
• Define PLC and robot I/O with field device wiring
• Collaborate with controls team for machine integration
Requirements:
• Several years in electrical design for automation
• Strong experience with EPLAN software
• Solid knowledge of controls and safety circuits
• Understanding of Canadian Electrical Code
• Experience with custom automation projects
