Senior Manufacturing Engineer ON

Elevate nuclear manufacturing processes at BWXT Canada as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. In this onsite Cambridge role, you will lead projects and ensure high-quality standards in outsourced operations.

This position focuses on overseeing and coordinating outsourced manufacturing tasks while maintaining BWXT's rigorous quality and technical standards. You will lead complex projects, resolve technical issues, and streamline vendor management processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will also provide mentorship to emerging engineers, ensuring a culture of learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage outsourced manufacturing activities with approved suppliers

• Ensure compliance with engineering quality documentation

• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams

• Investigate technical discrepancies in vendor work

• Communicate project updates with stakeholders and vendors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing or vendor support

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies a plus

• Experience with engineering documentation and project management
