Engineering Technologist in Manufacturing

Join EQI Canada as an Engineering Technologist focused on manufacturing in Cambridge, ON. Support technical operations through precise CNC programming, fixture design, and engineering collaboration in this onsite position.

As an Engineering Technologist, you'll be integral to the Manufacturing team, providing technical direction in tooling and programming while enhancing production processes. Under the Engineering Manager’s guidance, your role involves engineering documentation control, root cause analysis, and collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate effective CNC programming for production

• Manage part and project documentation in ERP

• Design and build assembly fixtures with Solid Works

• Analyze material properties and production methods

• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement processes

Requirements:

• 3-year Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent

• 3-5 years of CNC programming and fixture design experience

• Skilled in MS Office and Solid Works

• Knowledge in casting and material treatment

• Ability to conduct comprehensive data analysis
