Join Eclipse Automation as an Electrical Design Team Lead in Cambridge, ON. This full-time role blends leadership, project oversight, and innovative electrical engineering design.
As the Electrical Design Team Lead, your primary responsibility is to manage electrical hardware designs and guide a skilled team. Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, you will ensure that projects adhere to high standards of quality and safety. You will mentor your staff while liaising with different departments to facilitate project success and cultivate a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and approve all electrical design projects
• Evaluate and solve potential design-related issues
• Guide team members in practical design methodologies
• Coordinate project timelines with management
• Maintain compliance with industry standards
Requirements:
• 7+ years of engineering experience in custom automation
• Electrical Engineering or related degree required
• Proficiency with EPLAN and AutoCAD
• Strong interpersonal and management skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
