Launch your career with Eclipse Automation as an Electrical Design Co-op in Cambridge, ON. Collaborate with experienced engineers to support the electrical designs for custom automation equipment.
In this on-site role, you will report to the Electrical Engineering Manager and assist with the development of electrical designs that meet customer specifications. You'll work closely with senior designers, learning about documentation, calculations, integration support, and Eclipse standards, while contributing to various custom automation projects with unique challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in creating designs based on project requirements
• Support engineering calculations for electrical systems
• Update and maintain accurate design documentation
• Provide support during equipment testing and integration
• Learn from experienced engineers on electrical standards
Requirements:
• Enrolled in Electrical Engineering or related program
• Strong interest in automation and electrical systems
• Ability to understand technical drawings and schematics
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Familiarity with CAD software is an asset
