What you’ll be doing
Ideally the candidate will hold one of the following designations: CA, CPA, CGA, CMA, CFP, RRC, or PFP.
Subject to the provisions of any resolution of the Board, the treasurer shall have the care and custody of all the funds and securities of the Corporation and shall deposit the same in the name of the Corporation in such bank or banks or with such depositary or depositaries as the Board may direct.
The Treasurer shall sign such contracts, documents, or instruments in writing as required and shall have other powers and duties assigned by the Board.
The treasurer shall disburse the funds of the Corporation as directed by the Board, taking proper vouchers for such disbursements, and shall render to the Chairperson, officers and directors or executive committee an accounting of all transactions and a statement of the financial position of the Corporation.
The treasurer shall also perform other duties as directed by the Board.
Requirements
Over “age of majority” in province of opportunity.
Willing to undergo a background or police records check.
