We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and analysis for a growing organization in Cambridge, Ontario. In this role, you will turn financial and operational data into clear insights that support sound business decisions. The successful candidate will work across accounting and finance functions, contribute to budgeting activities, and produce accurate reports for stakeholders. This Financial Analyst role is an on-site position.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze financial results, trends, and key performance indicators to provide meaningful business insights and support decision-making.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports using reporting tools and other accounting software platforms.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting cycle by gathering data, reviewing assumptions, and helping maintain reliable financial models.
• Perform data mining and detailed analysis to identify variances, patterns, and opportunities for improved financial performance.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operational teams to ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting across systems.
• Assist with accounting-related activities by reviewing financial information, reconciling records, and supporting month-end processes.
• Use CRM and financial systems to compile information, track relevant metrics, and improve reporting efficiency.
• Contribute to special projects and system-related reporting needs, including ad hoc analysis requested by leadership.
