Project Financial Analyst Accountant

Project financial analysis drives this Aecon accounting role, emphasizing forecasts, budgets, and cost reports. Work with project teams supporting nuclear programs.

As Project Accountant, you will track, analyze, and forecast project costs for Aecon Nuclear. Reporting to the Project Finance Manager, you will help prepare quarterly and annual business plans, project budgets, cash flows, and Estimated Costs  position also contributes to audits, tax matters, and financial controls.

• Track and analyze project costs for management
• Develop Estimated Costs at Completion with finance
• Participate in quarterly and annual project forecasts
• Assist financial, internal control, and tax audits
• Prepare cash flows and supporting financial reports

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics
• At least three years of experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with SAP, BPC, or Business Objects valued
