Temporary Lab Patient Technician at LifeLabs

Elevate patient care as a Lab Patient Technician s part-time, temporary role focuses on specimen collection and patient interaction, weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Life Labs is looking for a dedicated Lab Patient Technician who will manage the entire specimen collection process. Your responsibilities will include greeting patients, conducting phlebotomies, ECGs, and executing various specialized tests while maintaining precise documentation. Strong customer service skills are necessary to foster a positive experience for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients and explain the collection procedures

• Execute phlebotomies and holter monitor connections

• Conduct ECG tracings and document special tests

• Maintain strong client relationships through follow-up

• Input patient demographics and requisition details

Requirements:

• Graduate of a Laboratory Assistant program

• Experience in phlebotomy preferred

• Knowledge in ECG procedures is beneficial

• Strong communication and empathy skills

• Competent typing skills (minimum 40 wpm)
