As the Health and Safety Lead Coordinator at CGT, you will lead the implementation of vital safety programs and training initiatives. This position entails analyzing incidents, coordinating with JHSC, and assisting in WSIB claims management. Your proactive approach will aid in the identification of hazards and support overall employee wellness, vital for a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer health and safety programs for compliance adherence
• Manage training for new and existing employees
• Conduct incident analysis to inform corrective actions
• Support JHSC by organizing meetings and action plans
• Collect and report on EHS performance metrics
Requirements:
• At least 3 years in industrial safety management
• In-depth knowledge of safety legislation and ISO standards
• Proficiency in WSIB case management practices
• Relevant degree in Health and Safety field
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
