Part-Time Lab Patient Technician

This part-time (float) role offers an exciting opportunity to work across multiple locations in Cambridge and Guelph. You will be responsible for greeting patients, performing essential tests such as phlebotomies and ECGs, and ensuring proper documentation. Your experience in laboratory operations will have a direct impact on patient diagnostics and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and explain specimen collection processes

• Perform phlebotomies and ECG tracings

• Conduct special test collections and document results

• Maintain strong client relationships through timely follow-ups

• Prepare specimens for transport and testing

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Laboratory Assistant program

• Phlebotomy experience preferred

• ECG training or experience is an asset

• Strong customer service skills in stressful situations

• Ability to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
