You will be responsible for greeting patients, performing phlebotomies, and ensuring specimen preparation is completed accurately. Flexibility is essential in this role, which involves shift work across multiple locations in Cambridge and Guelph.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and explain the specimen collection process

• Conduct phlebotomies and manage ECG tracings

• Perform special test collections, including drug screens

• Maintain client relationships through effective communication

• Prepare specimens for testing and transportation

Requirements:

• Completion of approved Laboratory Assistant program preferred

• Previous phlebotomy and ECG experience is a plus

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Strong empathy and adaptability in stressful situations

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality standards
