The City of Cambridge is actively hiring a Bilingual Personal Support Worker to cater to the needs of older adults within the Francophone community. You will be responsible for essential services that include personal hygiene, behavioral observations, and participation in client care planning. A background in working with disabilities is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide consistent personal care and health support
• Monitor medication usage and ensure safety
• Document client health changes comprehensively
• Maintain a clean and prepared working environment
• Support clients during meals and activities
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• 1-2 years’ experience in a relevant care setting
• Bilingual in both English and French
• Completion of Personal Support Worker training
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
