Bimeda is seeking a Microbiologist to support its laboratory in Cambridge, ON, ensuring compliance and quality in microbiological testing during afternoon shifts. This role involves specialized microbial testing and analytical support.
In this full-time position reporting to the Microbiology Supervisor, you will manage microbiology testing for raw materials and finished products. Your expertise will ensure stringent adherence to safety and cGMP standards, validating testing methods and training fellow microbiologists. This role also promotes engagement in internal audits and technical studies, significantly impacting product quality in the veterinary pharmaceutical sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely microbiology testing for compliance
• Validate testing methods for raw materials
• Review documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Train microbiologists on aseptic testing
• Assist in investigations for deviations
Requirements:
• 3-5 years in a regulated pharmaceutical industry
• BSc in Microbiology or related field
• Knowledge of cGMP and Quality Systems
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work in an aseptic environment
