Responsibilities   The Senior Cloud Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and high‑performance hybrid cloud network architectures.
Collaboration with IT teams to integrate cloud network solutions with existing systems and applications.
Taking the primary engineer role in the design and architecture of new network infrastructure initiatives.
Leading the technical network response to high‑visibility incidents and supporting users in solving existing system problems.
Supporting migration projects that include implementation, action planning, configuration, and deployment while considering business and technical requirements, sizing, existing infrastructure, data protection, security requirements, governance, and recovery objectives.
Coordinating with the security team on documenting and implementing network security principles and guidelines.
Designing, maintaining, and administering computer networks, including LAN, WLAN, Cloud, and VPN.
Administering and maintaining network security components, including firewalls, WAF, and NAC.
Configuring and supporting B2B, IPSEC VPN connections with external parties.
Creating and maintaining network architecture design documents for new and existing objectives.
Maximizing network performance by monitoring activity and utilizing observability tools such as Dynatrace and Azure monitoring.
Solutioning and conducting disaster recovery operations when required.
Design, Deploy, and Maintain On‑Premise, Microsoft Azure and AWS Network Infrastructure   Construct and engineer networking solutions based on architectural designs.
Recommend changes to services within the direct scope of enterprise infrastructure operations and the Cloud and Platform Operations team.
Share best practices and provide coaching to teams supporting networking environments.
Work closely with teams such as IT Operations, Cloud Centre of Excellence, Architecture, and Security, to ensure efficient and secure implementation of cloud network services.
Collaborate with the product team to deliver solutions using modern Dev Sec Ops  tools and best practices, taking ownership of service/app deployment and configuration management.
Support and maintain Azure and AWS network infrastructure.
Utilize Terraform code to deploy Azure and AWS networking resources.
Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops.
Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of Azure and AWS networking infrastructure.
Establish logging, monitoring metrics, and configuration of production systems using Dynatrace and native AWS/Azure services.
Perform technical lead duties when designing new network infrastructure initiatives.
Document all diagrams, policies, and procedures for newly deployed systems and review annually.
Provide strategic and architectural guidelines related to general networking and network security.
Disaster Recovery and Network Business Continuity   Perform and solution disaster recovery operations when required.
Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures.
Collaborate with infrastructure architects on network design objectives.
Configure and support B2B, IPSEC VPN connections with external parties.
