Join Shred-Tech as a Technical Support Engineer, driving customer satisfaction and system performance in a remote or on-site capacity. This role emphasizes troubleshooting, project management, and proactive service.
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will oversee customer inquiries and manage projects critical to installation. Collaborating with various departments, your goal is to ensure each technical challenge is resolved swiftly and effectively. Your work will focus on maintaining high-performance standards for Shred-Tech's machinery and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sell service programs and spare parts to customers
• Lead project coordination for critical orders and installations
• Provide technical support via telephone for all equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance and record service visits
• Engage with customers on service contracts to meet expectations
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3-5 years in technical support roles
• Experience with software such as Danfoss, Siemens
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to interpret technical documentation
