Location:
Remote in Canada

The total target compensation (TTC) range, including salary and target bonus, is $19-$32/hourly. This TTC range is applicable to permanent roles only; fixed-term contract and casual roles are not eligible for annual bonus and would receive only the base salary component. The TTC will be pro-rated for permanent part-time roles.

Empire Life is looking to hire a Student to join our Process Improvement team! We are actively seeking candidates to fill a current, open position.

What you’ll be working on

• Support Process Improvement Projects with a focus on Enterprise Architecture: monitor and measure key performance metrics, support process mapping while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Develop New Processes & Management Systems:
  Support the creation and implementation of new processes, process controls, reporting systems and training materials.
• Train and Develop:
  Support business leaders with process transformations by providing guidance & administrative support, engage in brainstorming and team reflection conversations to identify new opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate Broadly to lead Organizational Transformation:
  Develop strong cross-departmental relationships, leveraging interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and achieve goals.

What we’re looking for you to have

Skills & Experience:

A mix of experience in areas such as:

• Process Design & Systems Thinking
• Enterprise Architecture or Digital Development Programming
• Data Science, Analytics, Visualization & Artificial Intelligence
• Project Management
• Product Management
• Operations Management
• Or other relevant fields

Key Qualities:

• High self-initiative and ownership of projects
• Fast learner with excellent critical thinking and listening skills
• Clear, concise communicator
• Strong leadership abilities
• Technical proficiency related to enterprise/business architecture, software development, data analytics (or a strong ability to quickly adapt and learn)

Education:

• Enrolled in a post-secondary program with a focus in Engineering, Math, Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Economics, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
