Business Analyst – Visa POD
Initial Term: 6 months

Role Overview
The Business Analyst supporting the Visa POD will play a key role in the ongoing evolution, optimization, and support of Visa products and processes. This role focuses on continuous delivery, operational improvements, and enhancement initiatives across the end-to-end card ecosystem.
Working within a cross-functional POD, the BA will collaborate closely with product, technology, operations, risk, and external partners (including Visa and vendors) to ensure efficient delivery of enhancements, and alignment with regulatory and Visa network requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Delivery Support
- Support the Visa POD in delivering ongoing enhancements, defect resolution, and operational improvements across Visa products
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements aligned to POD priorities and sprint goals.
- Manage and refine backlog items in partnership with Product Owner, ensuring readiness for sprint planning.
Stakeholder & Partner Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between business, operations, technology teams, and external partners (e.g., Visa, processors, vendors).
- Facilitate working sessions to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and drive alignment on solution design.
- Support coordination across teams for cross-functional initiatives impacting cardholder experience.
Analysis & Documentation
- Develop and maintain artifacts such as process flows, data mappings, business rules, and impact assessments.
- Analyze end-to-end impacts across card systems (e.g., card processor, fraud tools, digital channels, core banking).
- Ensure requirements align with Visa network rules, compliance, and audit expectations.
Operational & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, reduce friction, and enhance member experience.
- Support incident analysis, root cause identification, and remediation planning for production issues.
- Contribute to documenting and optimizing operational workflows and controls.
Testing & Release Support
- Support UAT planning, test case development, and coordination across stakeholders.
- Participate in defect triage and validation of fixes to ensure quality delivery.
- Assist with release readiness activities and post-implementation validation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–10+ years of Business Analyst experience in financial services or payments/cards domain.
- Experience supporting Visa credit products in a delivery or operations environment.
- Proven experience working in Agile delivery teams (Scrum/Kanban).
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with card processors and digital banking integrations preferred.
- Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) and/or Agile certification (CSM, PSM) considered an asset.
