Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Adobe CDP Architect to lead a customer data and journey transformation program. This role will be responsible for driving customer journey discovery, designing scalable customer data architectures, and leading the implementation of Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform solutions.
The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating customer experience objectives into scalable, privacy-compliant customer data solutions. This role requires deep expertise in customer data platforms, identity resolution, customer journey design, and enterprise-scale customer profile management.
Key Responsibilities
Journey Mapping & Customer Experience Design
- Lead customer journey mapping workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
- Identify and prioritize customer journeys across onboarding, communications, billing, self-service, customer engagement, and service operations.
- Translate business requirements into customer data, identity, segmentation, and activation strategies.
- Define customer experience KPIs, success metrics, and measurement frameworks.
Adobe CDP Architecture & Solution Design
- Own end-to-end architecture design for Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform.
- Design and implement:
- Customer profile schemas
- Identity resolution frameworks
- Namespace strategies
- Data ingestion architectures (batch, streaming, API)
- Consent and governance models
- Develop scalable unified customer profiles across multiple customer touchpoints and data sources.
- Define audience segmentation and activation strategies aligned to customer journeys.
- Ensure alignment with Adobe Experience Platform best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
Implementation Leadership
- Provide architectural leadership throughout Adobe CDP implementation initiatives.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption.
- Support integration with:
- CRM platforms
- Billing systems
- Customer Information Systems (CIS)
- Call center platforms
- Web and mobile applications
- Operational and IoT data sources
- Guide testing, validation, deployment, and production readiness activities.
Data Governance, Privacy & Compliance
- Design privacy-by-design solutions aligned with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Establish data governance standards including:
- Consent management
- Data classification
- Data retention policies
- Access controls and usage policies
- Collaborate with Privacy, Legal, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure governance requirements are met.
Stakeholder & Program Leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and executive stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, architecture reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
- Support roadmap development, MVP planning, and value realization initiatives.
- Contribute to operating model design, knowledge transfer, and organizational enablement.
Required Qualifications
Core Experience
- 7–10+ years of experience in Customer Data, Martech, Digital Architecture, or Customer Experience technology roles.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform.
- Strong experience in customer journey mapping and enterprise customer experience design.
- Proven expertise designing and implementing unified customer profiles at scale.
- Strong understanding of:
- Identity resolution
- Customer data modeling
- Schema design
- Audience segmentation
- Customer activation strategies
Adobe Experience Platform Expertise
- Hands-on experience with:
- Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform
- Adobe Experience Platform
- Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics, Tags, and Data Collection preferred.
Consulting & Leadership
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops and lead discovery sessions.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience working within complex, multi-vendor delivery environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Utilities, Energy, Telecommunications, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with:
- Customer Information Systems (CIS)
- Billing platforms
- Call center technologies
- IoT and AMI data environments
- Adobe certifications in AEP, CDP, or Solution Architecture.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and enterprise transformation programs.
