Elevate your tech career with the City of Cambridge as a Support Technician. This role focuses on troubleshooting, IT support, and AV solutions, ensuring seamless service for users.
We are looking for a Support Technician within Corporate Services, Technology Services. Reporting to the Client Service Supervisor, the ideal candidate will have two to three years of IT experience, expertise in various operating systems, and a strong grasp of cybersecurity. You will support staff at City Hall and other corporate locations to enhance technology services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to ITSM incidents and service requests
• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues
• Provide AV support and end user device assistance
• Implement and install computing hardware and peripherals
• Conduct user training for problem resolution
Requirements:
• Two-year College Diploma in Computer Science or similar
• 2-3 years of related IT experience
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft client operating systems
• Familiarity with HEAT ticketing system
• Valid Comptia A+ certification
