Reporting to the Manager of Facultative Reinsurance, your primary responsibilities will involve assessing property and casualty reinsurance risks and negotiating placements with our members. You will also provide valuable insights on underwriting standards and assist in mentoring junior staff, emphasizing collaboration and compliance with guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and underwrite diverse reinsurance risks

• Analyze submissions to establish pricing and terms

• Negotiate facultative reinsurance placements effectively

• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and contracts

• Provide technical guidance on policies to partners

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in related insurance programs

• 5-7 years experience in property and casualty underwriting

• Strong communication skills for clear explanation of concepts

• Detail-oriented approach in analysis and risk assessments

• Analytical ability to support underwriting decisions
