As a Technician - ISC - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will support ISC operations by troubleshooting, testing equipment, maintaining, and reporting any issues. You will assist in process improvements to ensure smooth functioning and high efficiency. You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Cambridge, ON location on an Onsite work schedule (Afternoon Shift Monday
-Wednesday 4:00 PM
-2:30 AM /Thursday 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM).
As a Technician - ISC - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in supporting the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) operations by performing technical tasks and providing hands-on support to ensure the smooth functioning of our processes. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment, as well as assisting in the implementation of process improvements.
Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our supply chain operations, contributing to the overall success of the business by ensuring that equipment and processes are running optimally. Your work will help minimize downtime, improve productivity, and support the continuous improvement of our supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate, maintain, and repair industrial control systems according to specifications and safety guidelines.Testing verification and reporting of devices under test.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to devices under test, including diagnosing problems, identifying root causes, and implementing appropriate solutionsCollaborate with cross functional teams to support the implementation of test setups upgrades and modificationsUnderstanding chemical drawings and test procedures.Document all maintenance and repair activities, including updating equipment records and preparing reportsYOU MUST HAVE
Diploma in a relevant field (., Engineering, Technology,2 or more years of experience in an aerospace/defense/assembly roleMust have the ability to lift up to 35lbs.Ability to work in heightsMust be able to obtain CGP, CSP, and ACSO clearancesWE VALUE
Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environmentStrong computer skills (Office 365)Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (., Lean, Six Sigma)Follow procedures (SOP's Maps, Drawings,Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and time management skillsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailProficiency in using technical tools and equipmentUnderstanding of RF Theory.
