With six manufacturing facilities, 50 major distribution centers and 70,000+ customers from coast to coast, we're constantly searching for committed, hardworking individuals to help build our team.
We are looking for drivencandidates currently enrolled in post-secondary educationto work as a Summer Student Packer, General Labourer or Warehouse Worker who want a value-added experience in plant operations at our food manufacturing facility in Cambridge, Ontario.
Compensation: $19/hr
This position will require full-time availability May through September and you can be assigned to a variety of shifts (including weekends) between the hours of 7am-11pm, as well as overnight shifts 11pm-7am.
ResponsibilitiesWhat you’ll be working on:
Packer
Fold and label boxesPack sealed bags of product into boxesStack boxes to build a skidClean machines and area as neededWork in an ergonomically correct mannerGeneral Labourer
Provide packers with supplies neededShrink wrap and remove skids from packaging areaSome heavy lifting requiredWork in an ergonomically correct mannerWarehouse Worker
Pick orders from a pick list to be placed on a moving belt systemLoad and unload trailersWork in an egronomically correct mannerPerform general clean-up/sanitation duties including facility and ground appearanceQualificationsCompleted high school diploma or GED equivalentMust be enrolled in a post secondary education program in CanadaAvailable to work up to and including Labour Day weekendGreat teamwork and excellent communication skillsExperience in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferredFlexible –Willingness to work all shifts including afternoons, nights, weekends, and weekend nightsMust be able to perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing, reaching, grasping and stair climbingMust be able to lift / carry up to 50lbsWhat you can expect from us
