Saw Operator

We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator responsible for operating a semi-automatic saw. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both metric and imperial units and possess the capability to accurately cut compound angles.

• Operate semi-automatic saws efficiently and safely.
• Work with both metric and imperial units for precise measurements.
• Cut compound angles with accuracy.
• Read and interpret blueprints for fabrication tasks.
• Lift materials weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Ensure smooth operation of saws and perform routine maintenance.
• Assist in deburring and finishing sheet metal products.

• 2+ years of saw operation experience in a fabrication shop.
• Proficiency in operating bandsaws and other machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Comfortable with lifting up to 40 lbs.

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Skills in deburring and finishing processes.

The work environment is a fabrication shop where safety and precision are paramount. Employees are expected to work efficiently with a variety of machinery and tools. The facility requires adherence to safety protocols, and business-casual attire is recommended.

This is a Contract position based out of Cambridge, ON.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
