This full‑time Metal Fabricator role in Cambridge offers a starting wage of $24.00 to $30.00 per hour. Working a consistent day shift, you will perform high‑grade welding and fitting for diverse industrial projects. This position features an immediate start, provided PPE, and a transition to a brand‑new facility in Cambridge this summer. • Secure a starting rate of $24.00 to $30.00+ with consistent overtime at 1.5x
• Work a consistent straight day shift, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM in Cambridge
• Earn extra income through available overtime pay for all hours worked beyond the 40‑hour weekly threshold
• Access a 50/50 cost‑shared Canada Life benefits plan following the completion of a 3‑month probation period
• Receive weekly payroll as a Randstad employee before transitioning to bi‑weekly pay upon permanent hire after 3 months

• Blueprint Interpretation:
  Review and interpret drawings, prints, sketches, and verbal instructions to determine project specifications and tolerances
• Precision Fabrication:
  Plan and execute the sequence of operations for welding and fitting tasks, including joint alignment, part setup, and final assembly
• Multi‑Process Welding:
  Perform high‑quality MIG and TIG welding on industrial‑grade steel and aluminum components
• Machine Setup & Operation:
  Select, set up, and operate various fabrication equipment and hand‑cutting tools to produce parts to spec
• Quality Assurance:
  Conduct regular quality control inspections on finished pieces to ensure they meet all design requirements and precision standards

• Prove your ability to read blueprints and technical drawings for accurate assembly
• Pass a practical welding test on‑site in Cambridge to validate your technical proficiency
• Hold a valid CWB certification (nice‑to‑have)
• Demonstrate at least 3 years of professional experience welding and fitting heavy‑gauge industrial metals (nice‑to‑have)
