As a valued member of Aecon's team, your role as Painter will involve operating spray equipment, preparing materials, and maintaining high standards of work. You'll engage with both traditional and modern techniques in a shop environment that prioritizes safety and continuous learning. Key Responsibilities:
• Spray paint using airless and conventional methods
• Implement preparation strategies: cleaning, masking, sanding
• Read and enact technical specifications from drawings
• Use film gauges for painting quality assurance
• Assist other craft workers and maintain cleanliness
Requirements:
• Experience with a variety of coatings and tools
• Fall arrest and WHMIS certification considered assets
• Ability to manage physically demanding tasks
• Flexibility for varied shifts and weather conditions
• Eagerness to develop new skills and work as a team
