Job Summary
The Yard Worker will assist and support plant personnel to efficiently process orders to customer specifications.

We are looking for mainly swing shift workers who will rotate 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm every 2-week rotation (Monday-Friday).

It could be changed to night shifts 11pm-7am (Sunday night to Friday morning).

The Yard Worker works outdoors so working in the elements is a requirement.

Due to our safety sensitive work environment, employment is conditional upon successfully passing a medical assessment including drug testing.

Job Responsibilities

Comply with workplace policies and procedures (operational and health and safety)

Complete pre-inspection equipment reports before each shift

Accurately pick material for shipment to customer

Ensure safe procedures are followed while loading and unloading material on or off trucks

Perform all housekeeping responsibilities

Job Requirements

Proficiency in the English language (reading, writing)

Able to work as a team and independently

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferable

Relevant experience with the ability to operate forklift, overhead crane, and band saw as required

Hourly Rate: $27.41 (Start - 60 days), $28.41 (60 days - 120 days), $29.41 (FULL RATE)
