CMM Operator​/QC Inspector

Precision Castparts Corporation is a leading global supplier to the aerospace industry. We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and passionate individual to join our PCC Cambridge Team as a CMM Operator / Inspector. This is a continental rotating shift position to fill an existing vacancy.

Primary Responsibilities

Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and interpret CMM results and data.

Communicate inspection results to manufacturing setup personnel.

Perform in-process, first-off audit and final inspection of precision machined components.

Effectively communicate inspection techniques and criteria to applicable personnel.

Participation in solving nonconformance issues and implementing corrective actions.

Skills and Experiences

Blueprint reading skills including strong understanding of Geometric Dimension & Tolerance.

Experience operating CMM.

PCDMIS experience an asset.

Experience using a wide variety of precision measuring instruments (i.e. micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc).
