In this senior role, you will coordinate toolmakers and apprentices to ensure timely and quality assembly of robotic work cells and automation projects. Your expertise in machine tools and shop mathematics will guide medium to large complex projects from concept to completion. As a supportive figure for the Group Lead, you will help maintain productivity and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and fit precision parts for robotic systems
• Oversee and mentor a team of toolmakers and apprentices
• Operate machine tools like lathes and mills for projects
• Lead project execution and manage timelines effectively
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements:
• Certificate of Qualification in Machine Tool Building
• Proven experience in complex project management
• Strong leadership and coordination skills
• Understanding of manufacturing and safety regulations
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
