Position: Packaging Associate (Afternoon Shift)

We are currently hiring for our Afternoon Shift.

Afternoon

Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM (includes a shift premium). Hours subject to change.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities   Move portioned meat products from conveyor belts into various packaging, including vacuum-sealed bags and boxes.
Weigh and portion diced meat, placing it into bags, trays, or vacuum machines.
Transport meat products using carts or pans between workstations.
Distribute meat from carts to conveyor belts using gloved hands.
Load meat into injectors, vacuum machines, or tumblers.
Place meat onto racks or into boxes.
Verify product weights using scales.
Seal packaged products using hand sealers.
Sort products and ensure package integrity.
Apply labels to packages.
Work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
Adhere to all quality and safety guidelines.
Perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements   Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Excellent hand-eye coordination
Basic math skills
Comfortable working in a cold environment
Willingness to comply with safety procedures
Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
Willingness to assist with general cleanup and additional tasks as assigned
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Positive attitude and strong communication skills
Team player
