Lean Continuous Improvement Specialist at EQI

Drive lean processes as a Continuous Improvement Specialist with EQI Canada. Collaborate with teams in the machine shop and warehouse to implement key improvement standards and training.

In this role, you will report directly to the General Manager and work closely with production teams to enhance Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP) KPIs. Your expertise in lean methodologies like DMAIC, 5S, and Kanban will be essential in fostering a continuous improvement culture and implementing effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with teams to improve SQCDP KPIs

• Lead data collection and analysis for performance

• Enhance shop-floor 5S and training implementation

• Improve communication through efficient meetings

• Support engineering for changeover efficiency improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field

• Minimum 3 years in lean production or shop-floor management

• Six Sigma certifications preferred

• Proficient in MS Office and statistical software

• Strong analytical and communication skills
